State Aid Planning Service workshops are presented throughout New York State and provide participants with an understanding of state aid distribution and impact on their districts.  Topics for regional workshops offered in the Fall and Winter include, but are not limited to:

    • Funding for pupils with special needs
    • Attendance and enrollment
    • Legislation and court cases affecting school finance
    • Building Aid process

MAJOR PROPOSALS FOR STATE AID

NEW AID FORMULAS ADOPTED IN FINAL LEGISLATION

    • Described technically and conceptually with emphasis placed on district impact, regional and statewide impact, new SED requirements, and programmatic implications
