2017-18 BOCES RWADA Pupil Counts & Aid Ratios and 2017-18 BOCES Aid - April 14, 2017

The 2017-18 BOCES RWADA Pupil Counts and Aid Ratios and 2017-18 BOCES Aid Estimates are now available. The 2017-18 BOCES RWADA report provides district specific 2015-16 RWADA pupil count as well as the 2017-18 RWADA Aid Ratio and Millage Ratio used in the 2017-18 BOCES Aid estimates under the recent enacted State budget. The 2017-18 BOCES Aid Estimates spreadsheet provides the estimated expenditure and aid ratio data used to calculate the 2017-18 BOCES Aid under the recent enacted State budget. To access the information by BOCES, select the pulldown arrow of Column B (BOCES Code). Hit the Select all check box to clear the selected BOCES Codes. Find your BOCES Code, check the selection box and click the OK button.

 

2017-18 State Aid Factors and Foundation Aid History - Now Available - April 14, 2017

The 2017-18 State Aid Factors and Foundation Aid History are now available! The 2017-18 State Aid Factors report provides district specific factors used in various categorical aid calculations, and a review of formula based aid and enrollment counts. The Foundation Aid History spreadsheet provides a 10-year analysis of the Foundation Aid base, the current Foundation Aid payable and the amount in aid districts would receive if Foundation Aid were fully phased-in. To access your district's specific information, enter your 6-digit BEDS code at the top of each spreadsheet and your data will automatically populate.

Retirement Announcement - April 6, 2017

State Budget Update - April 4, 2017

The State Education Department has issued the following update: The Governor has proposed a "budget extender" bill which will keep the state government operating until May 31, 2017. After an initial review of the legislation, the State Aid Office believes that all payments for general support for public schools will be made in full and on time through the end of May. This notice will be updated when the Legislature passes this bill for final adoption. https://stateaid.nysed.gov/. We will notify districts as additional information becomes available as negotiations on the 2017-18 state budget continue.
