Staff Update - February 22, 2017

State Aid & Financial Planning Service would like to welcome our new specialist, Sarah Morrison, CPA. Sarah most recently served as the School Business Administrator at North Colonie CSD. Prior to working at the district, Sarah was an Audit Manager for Marvin and Company. Sarah's experience in school business management and accounting makes her a great addition to our staff. Syracuse Workshop - Rescheduled - February 14, 2017

The 2017 Winter Workshop in Syracuse has been rescheduled for Friday, February 17th. Please note we needed to change the location and time of the workshop. See below.

Watertown Workshop - Rescheduled - February 13, 2017

The 2017 Winter Workshop in Watertown has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 8th. The location at Jefferson-Lewis BOCES will remain the same, but the program will begin at 1:00 p.m., as opposed to the morning session previously scheduled.

 

February 13th Watertown & Syracuse Workshops - Cancelled - February 13, 2017

Due to inclement weather, the Watertown and Syracuse Workshops scheduled for today are cancelled. We will let you know as soon as possible our plans for re-scheduling.

 

February Coffee Talk - Rescheduled - February 8, 2017

The Coffee Talk scheduled for Tuesday, February 14th at 9 a.m. has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 22nd at 9 a.m. We hope that you will be able to join us for this presentation.

 

February 9th Mid-Hudson Workshop - Rescheduled - February 8, 2017

Due to the inclement weather that is scheduled to hit the Mid-Hudson area tomorrow, we have decided to reschedule the Mid-Hudson Workshop for Tuesday, February 14th. The location and time of the event will remain the same, with registration beginning 9:45 a.m. and the program running from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Required School Budget Documents Available - February 3, 2017

The Property Tax Report Card and Administrative Salary Disclosure Information is available and must be submitted through the State Aid Management System (SAMS). The Property Tax Report Card is to be approved by the Board of Education and submitted to SED by end of the next business day following budget approval by board of education, but no later than 24 days before budget vote (Saturday, April 22, 2017).
